Geological field work commenced & construction of the Kerouane field camp.
April 2007 - May 2007:
Completion of airborne geophysical survey by Fugro covering 3,000 square km.
December 2007:
Drilling contract signed with Foraco & Geoprospects.
January 2008:
Commencement of recognisance drilling programme.
March 2008:
BSGR Guinea identified the Zogoto area as having the potential of being a major iron ore asset in the south.
June 2008:
Drilling campaign in the South commenced.
July 2008 - February 2009:
Large site camp established and 10,000 meters of diamond drilling completed.
December 2008:
BSGR Guinea awarded Simandou Block 1 & 2.
February 2009:
Definative confirmation received from the ministry of mines and energy and the President of the Republic of Guinea that BSGR Guinea's exploration licenses for Simandou Blocks 1 and 2 are valid and have been ratified.
